Create your first Assistant

Step 1: Create config.json
Add the required Assistant details such as Name, Version, System Prompt, Description, and Channel information.

Step 2: Create an assets folder
Add the Assistant icon in .svg format.

Step 3: Create a files folder
Add the required PDF knowledge documents.

Step 4: Verify the folder structure
Make sure config.json, assets, and files are placed correctly.

Step 5: Create a ZIP file
Compress the complete Assistant package into a ZIP file.

Step 6: Open RAGFish → Upload Tools
Navigate to the Upload Tools section.

Step 7: Upload the ZIP file
Select and upload the prepared ZIP package.

Step 8: Wait for validation
RAGFish validates the ZIP structure, JSON configuration, and knowledge files.

Step 9: Verify in My Tools
Check whether the newly uploaded Assistant is available under My Tools.

Step 10: Verify in Channels
Check whether the Assistant's associated channel and knowledge documents are available.
